Q: What are the dimensions (inches) of the lunch bag?
A: The lunch bag is 13″ x 8″ x 2 1⁄2″.

Q: What is the lunch bag made of?
A: The bag is made of polyester fabric, and the gray inner lining is made of PEVA (polyethylene vinyl acetate).

Q: How do I clean the lunch bag?
A: The lunch bag is ONLY intended to carry the food box/food contained WITHIN the food box, and also, is not intended to be submerged/washed under running water. As with other insulated bags, we recommend cleaning the bag with a damp cloth. Do not place the bag in a washing machine.

Q: Will there be new patterns for the lunch bags in the future?
A: Yes. We will add new and exciting patterns as they become available.

Q: Is the food box BPA-free?
A: Yes. The food box is BPA-free.

Q: What material is the food box made of?
A: Our food box is made of polypropylene (plastic grade #5) and uses silicone O-rings to keep food fresh.

Q: Has the lunch box set been tested for safety?
A: Yes. Go Green Lunch Box, LLC, has employed the services of a US-headquartered, commercial testing agency that provides testing, inspection, and quality assurance of a broad range of products. This company has conducted strict safety testing of our products. The food box and water bottle are lead-free and conform to California Proposition 65 (the nation’s most stringent law regulating environmental health and safety).

Q: May I put the food box in the microwave?
A: Though it is microwave-safe, it is never recommended to place any plastic products in the microwave.

Q: May I put yogurt, apple sauce, salad dressing, or pudding-like food products in the compartments?
A: Yes. Our revolutionary “turn ‘n lock” technology ensures that your child’s lunch stays fresh and within its compartment.

Q: Can I use an ice-pack to keep my food cold?
A: Yes. All lunch box sets come with an ice pack that we suggest you place between the food box and the bottom of food box.

Q: What type of pen do I use to write messages on the white board?
A: Only use a pen designated for a “dry-erase board.” Many brands of different colors and sizes are available at most office supply stores.

Q: What material is the water bottle made of?
A: The water bottle is made of 100% stainless steel – grade 304.

Q: How do I clean the food box and water bottle?
A1: The food box’s E-Z clips are easily unfastened, so the lid and box can be separated and washed with warm soapy water.
A2: Due to the inconsistent heat temperatures of many dishwashers, we do not recommend putting the food box in the dishwasher.
A3: For best results, and due to their light weight, we recommend the lid’s five silicone O-rings be removed daily and hand-washed.

Q:  How do I put the silicone O-rings back in the food box lid?
A:  The circumference of the silicone O-rings are purposely slightly larger than the channels into which they fit, because there has to be enough flex in the O-rings such that when the lid is closed/tabs locked, the downward pressure causes the O-rings to “bulge” outwards to create the leak-proof seal around each compartment.  If the O-rings fit just right/snug, then “leak-proof” is not guaranteed (because there is no “bulging of the O-rings” to form the proper seal).  Therefore, it is important that, after removing/washing the O-rings, they have to be “completely tucked back into” their respective channels.

Q: Do I need new O-rings?  Seems like they are stretched because I put them in the wrong lid channels?
A:  First, please understand that silicone’s “elastic” property is different from that of rubber (such as a rubber band) – though it stretches, it doesn’t stay “stretched” permanently [if left alone, it goes back to its original shape (placing silicone in hot water definitely will speed up the process)].

Q: How should I store my lunch box set?
A: The lunch bag and food box should be stored separately and in “open” positions, to ensure proper ventilation.

Q: May I buy the food box, water bottle, or lunch bag separately?
A: Yes. Please see the “Products” section of the website for purchase information or click here: http://www.gogreenlunchbox.com/product-category/replacement-parts/

Q: What is your return policy?
A: We stand 100% behind all our products and offer a 30-day return policy for all unused (salable) items.  All monogram orders are final.
